The Autel Robotics EVO Lite+ drone, equipped with a 1-inch camera sensor, has attracted many drone enthusiasts, and the use of drones to produce aerial photos and videos has grown into a major industry.
As a foldable drone, the Lite series focuses on striking a balance between great cameras and a compact folding design. The EVO Lite comes in two versions, the standard model features a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a new 4-axis gimbal, while the EVO Lite+ features a larger 1-inch camera.
The EVO Lite series drones continue the folding design of the EVO drone, with the rear propeller arm folded forward and located just below the folded forearm. The camera hangs from a gimbal below the nose, and the battery makes up most of the top of the drone, sliding into place on the back of the drone.
There are obstacle avoidance sensors on the front, rear and bottom of the drone. There's also a handy spotlight at the bottom, which isn't just for you, it helps with hover accuracy in low-light situations.
The Autel EVO Lite series can provide up to 40 minutes of flight time. The battery capacity of the EVO Lite series is 6175mAh, and the battery capacity of the remote control is 3930mAh, which means that you will have more time to take wonderful drone photos and conceive video images.
Personally, the main reason we fly drones is to capture great aerial images from the sky. EVO Lite+ does just that. In particular, we're very pleased that the EVO Lite+ drone can shoot 6K at 30fps, and 4K at 60fps, with well-balanced photos using the 20MP, 1-inch sensor.
After the firmware update on the EVO Lite+ drone, the subject-following feature became much smoother. While we were trying to frame a nice shot and then capture it at a different resolution, the image transfer remained stable during camera switching.
Overall camera performance is fantastic. We love the photos and videos captured by the Evo Lite+, and the drone performs well in summer or winter.
The low-light feature of the EVO Lite+ is a welcome addition, with the addition of an intelligent moonlight algorithm that captures the world's nighttime charm. In dim lighting conditions, Autel's intelligent moonlight algorithm improves the colder tones that exist in nighttime shots. Adding the video dynamic gain effect can improve the brightness and purity of the night video, reduce the early morning, and make the look and feel more comfortable.
As a flying platform, the EVO Lite series is always compared to the Mavic 3 series, the basic operation of the drone is the same as the DJI drone, and it has the same overall flying feeling. Who's to say the EVO Lite killed the Mavic 3? The build quality of the drone is comparable, and carbon fiber is a pleasing material on the EVO Lite, offering strength and stiffness while reducing weight. For video shooting, I prefer the EVO Lite plus drone.
